Q1: Do you provide watch maintenance services like battery change, overhaul / servicing and polishing?
Yes. However, these services are only available to existing clients for watches purchased from our boutique.
Q2: Do you do authentication?
No, we do not entertain watch authentication requests.
Q3: Are the photos in your website photos of the actual watch?
We use only original photos of our inventory taken in-house. We do not use stock photos.
Q4: If a watch I want is not listed on your website will you be able to source for me?
Our inventory is primarily focused on high-end, in-demand timepieces. Concierge service or watch pre-order is available to clients who are ready to buy difficult to obtain pieces. Please contact us to learn more.
2. BUY / SELL
Q1: Do you buy watches? How do I sell my watch to you?
Yes. We are very selective with the watches we take in, so if your watch is a brand and model that we carry and in good condition, we may be interested.
Your watch should come with the original box and papers and with receipts for servicing / repair work that may have been done. Please bring the full set to our boutique and have a selling price in mind, so we can make an assessment.
Q2: What Brands do you take in?
We focus multiple brands as reflected in our website. If you have a watch of different brands, you may consider consignment.
Q3: How much can you buy my watch for?
Clients who wish to sell their watch should propose selling price. We politely decline requests to offer buy price.
3. CONSIGNMENT
Q1: How does your consignment work?
Please provide us with a take-back price that you have in mind and we will do a mark-up from your price. You do not have to worry about a percentage cut.
Q2: What do I have to bring along with my watch for consignment?
You should provide the full set as received with the watch – box, papers, manuals, warranty card etc.
Q3: Why must I leave my watch with you for you to promote it?
We often have clients walk-in without an appointment asking to view watches that they have seen on our website or on our social media postings and they will expect to see the watch in our shop and may be ready to buy immediately. Hence, not having the actual item for customers immediately may impede the sale.
Q4: What are your terms for selling my watch through your company?
If you choose to sell your watch through us, you must not be promoting your watch on other platforms at a lower price as this will result in a conflict of interest.
Q5: How long must I leave my watch with you?
We recommend leaving your watch with us for at least 1 month as we work on marketing it for you.
Q6: How will you market my watch?
We will promote your watch on our social media platforms as well as on our website and on Wing Sing Gallery website.
Q7: Do you charge extra for promoting my watch on these medium?
No, there are no extra charges, just a straightforward mark-up from your asking price.
Q8: How do you pay after selling a consignment item?
We can either return the consignee cash or perform a bank transfer.
Q9: Can I take my watch back if it is not sold?
Yes, you may, but there will be a penalty charge. We recommend leaving the watch with us for at least 1 month before doing so.
4. AUTHENTICITY
Q1: Authenticity
All timepieces and jewellery sold on this website are verified authentic and in working condition. We do not sell replica watches.
Watches listed all include the original box, instruction booklet and warranty paperwork / card (unless otherwise stated).
Wing Sing Gallery Sdn Bhd is not an authorized dealer of any of the watch brands sold in our boutique. We obtain our watches from reputable sources dealing directly with end-users, authorized dealers and distributors worldwide.
Watches we have listed as "pre-owned" have also been verified authentic and are in good working condition and will come with the original box or warranty paperwork unless otherwise stated.
